NARS Claudette Audacious Sheer Matte Lipsticks Reviews & Swatches
NARS Anais Audacious Sheer Matte Lipstick ($34.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a very light,
pink-coral with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish.
The texture felt smooth, lightly velvety, and was very thin and lightweight on my lips, but it applied atrociously.
The formula caught on any and every imperfection possible–despite exfoliating prior!–and settled into my lip lines from the get-go, which only worsened over time.
It had medium coverage, as promised, though it didn’t build up too much beyond that. It lasted for two hours and felt non-drying over time.
NARS Berenice Audacious Sheer Matte Lipstick ($34.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a medium-dark orange-red with wamr undertones and a matte finish.
It had semi-sheer to medium, buildable pigmentation, which was as marketed, that applied fairly evenly, though the formula itself was prone to separating along my lip lines and any imperfections.
The texture felt more velvety without traditional slip–more glide like a silicone-based primer–that also felt very lightweight and thin on. It stayed on decently for two hours but settled more noticeably into my lip lines in the third hour of wear.
NARS Mathilde Audacious Sheer Matte Lipstick ($34.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a very light, peachy-coral with warm undertones and a matte finish.
It had medium color coverage that was buildable to semi-opaque pigmentation.
The texture felt smooth and more like a silicone-based primer, so it glided on and felt more velvety with a very lightweight feel once applied.
The product applied fairly evenly, but it settled into my lip lines and bunched around any imperfections in lip texture.
It wore for an hour and a half and felt non-drying over time.
