In honor of Valentine’s Day 2021, Barack Obama shared a previously unseen portrait of his wife, Michelle Obama, and their two daughters, Sasha and Malia
The photo appears to be an outtake from their People magazine shoot, which took place in late 2020
Sharing the gorgeous family photo, Barack wrote on Twitter,
“Happy Valentine’s Day to the three who never fail to make me smile
Your dazzling light makes everything brighter”

Back in November 2020, People shared a very similar snap on their social channels, and revealed,
“Very few kids grow up in the White House, in front of the whole country (and under Secret Service supervision).
But Malia and Sasha Obama got through it together—and as his daughters have grown older, they’ve also grown closer,

The caption continued, “‘Now they’re both old enough, where they just enjoy each other’s company,’
Obama says, ‘and to be together as a family and see how they’ve become these marvelous young women—there’s been no greater joy than that.'”
