CTrustGlobal and Hong Kong Fiduciary Association Discuss Strategic Cooperation in International Investment and Wealth Advisory Dr. Aly El Dakroury: International partnerships can connect investment opportunities, asset protection, and long-term wealth planning across global markets. Dubai, UAE | 20 October 2026 CTrustGlobal and Hong Kong Fiduciary Association Limited (HKFA) have held discussions in Dubai to explore potential strategic cooperation in international investment advisory, cross-border business services, asset structuring, and wealth planning. The meeting brought together Dr. Aly El Dakroury, Founder and CEO of CTrustGlobal, with Wassim Adhami and Mohamed Maher, both serving as Associate Trust Relationship Directors at Hong Kong Fiduciary Association. The discussions followed engagement initiated by HKFA representatives and focused on identifying opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation, particularly in connecting international investors, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth families with specialized professional expertise across different jurisdictions. Connecting Dubai and Hong Kong The discussions highlighted the complementary positions of Dubai and Hong Kong as international financial and business centres, and the opportunities their respective markets offer for cross-border investment and professional cooperation. Dubai’s growing role as an international business and investment hub, alongside Hong Kong’s established financial services ecosystem and connections to Asian markets, creates opportunities for developing relationships between businesses and specialized advisory providers. Dr. El Dakroury emphasized the importance of international cooperation in addressing the increasingly complex needs of investors operating across multiple markets. “International investors today require more than access to investment opportunities. They need a broader understanding of how their business interests, international mobility, assets, and long-term family objectives interact across different jurisdictions,” he said. “By combining complementary professional expertise, international partnerships can help develop more comprehensive approaches to cross-border business and investment planning.” Exploring Wealth Structuring and Asset Protection A key focus of the meeting was the potential alignment between CTrustGlobal’s experience in international investment, global mobility, and strategic business advisory and HKFA’s activities relating to fiduciary education, trust structures, asset management arrangements, and intergenerational wealth planning. Established in Hong Kong in 2015, Hong Kong Fiduciary Association describes itself as an independent platform promoting awareness and understanding of fiduciary and financial solutions in cooperation with international professional service providers. The association also maintains a presence in Dubai. The discussions considered how specialized expertise and professional networks could support internationally active entrepreneurs and families seeking to understand appropriate arrangements for managing business interests and assets across jurisdictions. Any future services or arrangements would remain subject to applicable licensing, legal, tax, and regulatory requirements. International Experience and Long-Term Investment Strategy Drawing on more than three decades of experience in engineering, international business, investment, and strategic consulting, Dr. El Dakroury noted that cross-border investment decisions increasingly require coordinated professional planning. “Successful international investment is not simply about entering a new market or acquiring an asset. It requires understanding the commercial, regulatory, and long-term implications of operating across borders,” he said. “Whether an investor is expanding a business, establishing an international presence, or planning the future transfer of family assets, the quality of professional advice and the coordination between jurisdictions can make a significant difference.” The discussions also reflected the increasing importance of specialized advisory services for business owners and internationally mobile families whose investments and financial interests extend across multiple countries. Both Parties Consider Further Cooperation CTrustGlobal and HKFA representatives agreed to continue exploring areas of potential cooperation, including opportunities for professional coordination, knowledge exchange, and access to relevant international expertise. The scope of any future partnership, including its commercial and operational arrangements, remains subject to further discussions and mutual agreement. Dr. El Dakroury noted that sustainable international partnerships should be based on complementary capabilities, transparent cooperation, and tangible benefits for the investors and businesses they serve. “The value of an international partnership is not measured by the announcement itself, but by the practical opportunities it creates and the long-term benefits it delivers,” he said. The meeting reflects the shared interest of both parties in examining new opportunities connecting Dubai and Hong Kong, particularly in international investment, fiduciary awareness, wealth structuring, and cross-border advisory services.
