It all started in March 2019 when Nigora Tokhtabayeva, fresh out of business school, decided to launch her own jewelry label.
After growing up in Uzbekistan, her country of birth, with an architect father and a fashion designer mother, the young woman then trained in the United States and chose to stay there to take care of her new treasure.
Entitled Tabayer, his label is inspired by ancient civilizations to imagine creations that are as contemporary as they are symbolic.
For her new collection, named Oera, Nigora Tokhtabayeva has imagined sculptural pieces with minimalist curves inspired by the shape of the Inanna knot, symbol of fertility and protection of the ancient Mesopotamian goddess of the same name.
The range then consists of fifteen models (rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings), like talismans, available in white gold or Fairmined yellow gold adorned with delicate diamonds certified according to the Kimberley Process (KPCS), which fights against the illicit diamond trade.
The Oera collection from the jewelry label Tabayer is available on tabayer.com.
