We, in the political party ELLINI.S – HELLENIC ALLIANCE, envision the future through a Greece-centered perspective, guided by the national interest. Our purpose and goal is to change the impersonal political system as it exists today and create a political movement that places Greece and the Greek people at its center. We seek the return of citizens to active involvement in the affairs of our homeland, because for us it is inconceivable that citizens of all ages should not have opinions and views about their own lives.
We envision a Greek society that upholds values and ideals, a united and proud society, not one burdened and tormented by the problems that suffocate the daily lives of Greeks.
What are the main points that differentiate ELLINIS–HELLENIC ALLIANCE from traditional political parties?
The difference between the political party ELLINI.S – HELLENIC ALLIANCE and the other political parties is, first of all, that those of us who make it up are working people who know firsthand the problems of everyday life because we live and survive within them, not office-bound bureaucrats managing situations from the comfort of their desks. We do not come from political dynasties and we did not find anything handed to us in life.
Politically, we have a completely different approach from the other parties because, for us, Greece and the Greek people come first, not foreign interests. Our primary goal is the development of our homeland and the prosperity of Greek society, something the other parties deliberately overlook as they remain impersonal and mainly concerned with the preferences of foreign powers.
How do you intend to improve the current political situation in Greece through your movement?
The political situation in the country right now resembles a boiling cauldron, as the establishment political parties and society have been divided into two camps, mainly due to the arrogance and recklessness of politicians who test the endurance of the people with scandals, bribery, concessions and anti-national, anti-Greek policies.
We, as a political organization, were founded to uproot this rotten political system and show society that it is not alone and that politics does not mean bribery, scandals and personal enrichment, but self-sacrifice and devotion to the duty of developing and ensuring the prosperity of both our homeland and society. We are here to work hard together with all Greeks so that false promises, mockery and deception disappear and are replaced by a political system centered on our homeland, society and future generations.
What measures are you promoting to strengthen the country’s economic and social development in the near future?
The most important measures we propose for economic and social development are:
- Increase the tax-free income threshold to €12,000, with an additional €3,000 for each minor child.
- Reduce or eliminate VAT in accordance with European directives and abolish the business tax.
- For businesses, establish a stable 7% tax framework, except for those employing more than one legal foreign worker, whose tax rate would be 14%, with the increase directed toward insurance and benefits for unemployed Greeks.
- Abolish the ENFIA property tax.
- Nationalize public utility companies.
- Public goods such as electricity and water would be provided free of charge to Greeks.
- Retirement age is set at 58 for men and 52 for women.
- Development of domestic industries of all kinds, with emphasis on regional areas.
- Priority to domestic primary production to fully cover domestic demand while reducing or eliminating imports.
- For businesses returning to Greece, a stable 3% tax rate for 10 years is provided, provided they employ Greek workers.
- Nationalize banks and write off Greeks’ debts based on income criteria, excluding major journalists and politicians.

Our vision is the development and prosperity of Greece and the Greek people. This can only be achieved through active citizens participating in decision-making processes. The next generations are also central to our mission and to their fundamental right to live and prosper in our homeland, to dream and build their lives and families there. We want them to contribute to Greece’s future for their children as well.
We want our young people who were forced to leave abroad during what we describe as the “genocide” of our homeland through the memoranda years to return home. Greece must once again become the mother of all Greeks and not a country trapped in a political vise that consumes and suffocates its children.
How do you address the challenges arising from political polarization and the lack of trust in politics?
The current political polarization among parties, in our view, is a poorly staged theater performance directed at Greek society. While they all share the same agenda, in front of cameras, they pretend to disagree and have differences. At this point, there are no real ideological distinctions among the parliamentary parties. They operate on the same wavelength, have the same masters and act exactly as instructed.
This is increasingly recognized by Greek society and combined with the lack of transparency shown by politicians, many of whom are involved in scandals, it creates distrust and lack of confidence in the political system.
We, with consistency and seriousness in both words and actions, are here to prove to Greek society that there is an alternative and that the current political system must be uprooted and consigned to history. Through our plan and direct contact with society, we demonstrate that only together can we change the situation and create a strong, autonomous and self-sufficient Greece where future generations can create and prosper.
What are your long-term plans for upgrading Greece’s international standing?
A very important sector in which we place particular emphasis is the upgrading of our homeland at the international level and securing the position it deserves on the global geopolitical chessboard.
Greece is a country of exceptional geopolitical importance that should serve as a pillar of stability, trust and strength.
Our key positions include:
- Extension of territorial waters in the Aegean to 12 nautical miles.
- Delimitation of an Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) with Cyprus.
- Bilateral agreements with European and non-European states were guided solely by Greece’s national interest.
- Development of a domestic defense industry with participation from all relevant universities.
- Equipping the armed forces with modern systems and full staffing.
- Development of domestic expertise in hydrocarbon exploration and extraction, aiming to exploit Greece’s mineral wealth with minimal involvement of foreign companies.
- Support and protection for Greeks in Northern Epirus, Constantinople and the broader Greek diaspora worldwide.

It is a political idea born to change Greece’s political life and create the foundations for the participation of all Greeks in the development of our homeland across all sectors. It is the true alliance of all Greeks who think and act according to the national interest beyond any personal gain.
It is presented as the national solution for transforming our homeland into a strong, autonomous and self-sufficient nation-state.
