1.      Please introduce yourself to our readers and tell us about your exciting journey of becoming a lifestyle content creator.

I am a Lifestyle Content Creator and have worked in the Tourism, Fashion, Beauty and Entertainment Industry.

In 2013, I developed my blog “JiveWithDeepti” in Dubai, UAE and have since 2017 moved the base to India.  During the onset of pandemic, I had launched my digital magazine“Luxpresso”, aimed to present luxurios lifestyle to the masses.

2.      What inspired you to step into the fashion industry? Who were your role models growing up?

To be honest I wasn’t a Fashion person. I was more into tees and denims until college. Fashion happenned when I was employed in the Luxury/Fashion Industry as a Media Manager in Dubai.

I was lucky to handle brands like Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Bvlgari, Jimmy Choo, Harvey Nichols, Bloomingdales to name a few.

My boss, Karima Liusie, was my mentor and she inspired me a lot. With great fashion sense & style, her presence had a vibrant vibe.

I learned a lot from her about Fashion and also how to conduct ones life with dignity and poise.

3.      Kindly share your views about the current volatile dynamics of the industry and how it may have affected your projects or work, if at all.

Covid has changed everything as it affected Travellling and a lot of projects got held up. Fashion cannot be a priority in times when people are stuck at home trying to survive. However, things are now opening up.

I focused a lot on my health in the last one year. I spent over a month in Rishikesh completing the  Yoga Teacher Training course. Now I also focus on wellness in my content creation.

4.      We would love to know about your experience of working on some of your enthralling projects and working with well-known personalities or brands. Please tell our readers about the same.

I have worked with various brands like Samsung Arabia, Amazon India, The Dubai Mall, Emaar, Dubai Tourism (DTCM), Dubai Food Festival, Address Hotels, Spain Tourism, Mauritius Tourism, Zurich Tourism, Noon.com, Sivvi.com, Al Jaber Opticals, Malabar Gold & Diamonds and many more. I was featured in the advertising campaign for Emaar at The Dubai Mall Screens, Reel Cinemas and Emirates In-flight Entertainment.

I have interviewed various celebrities for my social channel as well as Luxpresso Magazine. The experience has been wonderful and interacting with the brands has given me a lot of confidence.

Being close to well known personalities also helps me understand how they handle pressure and their happening lives also adds zest to my life.

5.      Kindly tell our readers about your digital magazine ‘Luxpresso’, and its journey since inception.

When the world was stuck in lockdown, I wanted to use my time wisely and thought of Luxpresso as a fine idea to work on.

It’s a definitive guide to the best in luxury lifestyle in the world with features on fashion, people, design, accessories, travel, arts & culture, home, beauty, auto and weddings.

We seek to cover everything that defines luxury living with an International Flavor. The journey has been great so far,  and I am still learning and focusing on the vision that I had envisaged for the magazine.

6.      What kind of problems have you faced in making the ‘Luxpresso’ magazine successful? What are some of the problems that you faced in your career so far?

Challenges are part of any project. The main challenge was to establish “Luxpresso”  in a very  competitive market. It is still work in progress and would be early to consider it a success.
