Firas Hamzeh is and born in Syria, Latakia city in 1986. journalist, TV producer, news reporter and a public media figure working with MBC group (AlArabiya TV) since 2010. covered the UN conferences especially the Syrian crisis conferences during the past 10 years for MBC and have been founding/producing several new shows for AlArabiya.
Firas left Syria back in 2005 and started his career in TV and media with MBC group in 2010.
Although he had great love and passion for Media and Press, he was not able to study it in Syria because of the bad living circumstances we had there. he was lucky enough to join this prestigious renown organization (MBC) and went through intensive trainings with people that believed in him and his goals and the message he wanted to pursuit through free press that doesn’t exist in Syria.
Leaving Syria was a big turning Point in both of his professional and personal life. once he arrived to the united Arab emirates he felt the energy of the country and the support system they give to expats.
Success doesn’t come without planning and hard-work. There should be a solid plan towards it. he always aspire to expand his horizons, experience and knowledge in my field. I have an appetite for learning and that’s a blessing.
He would advise any new comers in this field to focus on learning, observing and experimenting. Excelling in both of English and Arabic languages is very important.
Developing the ability to deal with hard situations and learn from other people’s experiences. Eventually respect is very essential in our field.
