Hate red hearts, candy and balloons? These luxe, unexpected gifts, will be cherished forever!

As the first of its kind, this genius all-in-one phono system features a built-in, high-performance stereo speaker system that will surely transform your living space while surpassing expectations with regards to high fidelity listening devices.
In January I presented an unusual £369 Austrian turntable, the Pro-Ject Juke Box E. Its beauty was that it had its own amplifiers stowed below deck, so to speak, so that while doing spinning a vinyl storm, it also served as a modern take on an old-school music hub.
Plug in some good speakers and, in addition to playing records, you can bypass the turntable and play whatever you want on it.
This device, from London-based niche radio manufacturer Plus Audio (I tested, and still love, its The+Radio DAB+), goes one step further.
As well as the amps, it incorporates the brightest speakers, so this heavy but sleek cubic machine is a stand-alone stereo record player – like your old Dansette, only hundreds of times better.
The+Record Player also allows you to stream content, but for me, it’s a secondary, even tertiary interest. It’s a real record player – no extra wires, no hassle.
It sounds fantastically good and I found myself more excited about this device than anything that has been delivered to me here in the towers of Technopolis for months.
I think the reason it sounds so good – or “surprisingly good” as one celebrity audiophile put it when he heard it at the New York Audio Show in November – is that our ears just aren’t used to it.
to such quality sound from old difficult recordings; The+Record Player’s six amplifiers provide a generous soundscape, even when playing mono records. Once you start playing your old vinyl on this device, you can’t stop.
I absolutely love this product designed in Milan by a Swede and made in Boston, with a Czech turntable and a Danish cartridge.
I think you also. Plus Audio, The + Record Player, from www.plusaudio.com
It’s an all-in-one turntable, but with a modern take on classic wood cabinet design and audio performance that will impress even audiophiles.
The +AUDIO team that has spent over three years working on the +RECORD PLAYER includes engineers with decades of experience from some of the world’s leading audio brands (JBL and Cambridge SoundWorks) as well as a furniture done.
The end result is a beautiful all-in-one turntable with high-end touches including real wood veneer and aluminum trim, plus high-quality audio components, starting with a Pro-Ject turntable. Debut III made in Europe and housed in the top of the cabinet.
