?Can you describe what motivated you to pursue a career as an actor
When I was little, I knew I wanted to be a Hollywood star, but I did not know what acting meant
i just knowing dance I used to stand in front of the mirror and dancing for hours …LOL My father, who is a great singer, told me that if I wanted to be on television shows, I had to prepare myself very well and in the future when i grow up i could be an star, I told him that I did not want to wait until I was
old to be on TV because the girls that I saw dancing in the Tv show were only girls
He told me: ok, prepare yourself as well as possible and the next day I will take you to a television channel to do a casting, I was so happy and excited and I prepared myself a lot, the next day my father had gone to work
but he always told me that I had to be ready for the opportunity that I would have soon one The day when I was 6 years old, I knew the reason for wanting to be an actress and I discovered what acting means
I had one in a million chances, since I lived in a very small city where no one imagined
that some huge Production shoot a movie there, but the opportunity came to my door
My mother and father had an invitation to participate in the big production Under Fire, a film of Lion’s Gate
Directed
by Roger Spottiswoode with an amazing cast as Gene Hackman, EdHarris,Nick Nolte, Joanna
Cassidy,Bruno Bichir , Alma Martinez and many stars of Hollywood
For first time my dream has come true and the experience in that film was unforgettable and it was there that I learned my reason
for wanting to be an actress the rest of my life!
?How was the process to prepare for your career
to take my first steps in my career, not everything was easy
All those acting classes were very
expensive and my family could not finance my studies abroad, but the passion and hunger to learn
and create, made me qualify for various scholarships financed by several institutions
and I was able to prepare in different parts of the United States and Cuba with much success in my career. Specializing
as a Master of Arts in the disciplines of Dance with specialization of more than 50 different techniques
of dance, and Master in Acting
?What do you feel is most important to the actor’s talent , or training
For years I studied the discipline of Classical ballet, by the way, a very complex and broad technique and methodology to learn terms, history, steps, variations, posture, combinations, music, absolute
control of your body, balance, etc
I believe that with my talent, passion and enthusiasm, it would not have been possible to pass the
professional Ballet auditions for the Black Theater Company in the city of DALLAS TEXAS or to interpret pieces like the Nutcracker and other modern pieces of ballet at the Center for the Arts
The same happens with acting, an actor has to be prepared with confidence in himself using the acting technique that is most favorable for the interpretation of a character
An acting preparation helps you to control the mind and body in a favorable way, taking care of the emotions where they are exposed
and discovering the most sensitive and deep parts of your being. but for other ways it is not imposible
be an actor than everThey had academic preparation and still achieved extraordinary jobs in the world
of cinema
?What types of acting do you feel the most suitable for you
I definitely love challenges,so I am fascinated by giving life to complex and deep characters that make
me leave my comfort zone,one of the genres that I enjoy the most is drama and comedy Mexicans take
bad situations with a great sense of humor and good situations too lol, It does not matter the subject
or the seriousness of the situation, be it political, economic or tragic, that is why I like comedy so
much
I enjoy each character. it does not matter if they are small or big, they deserve to be interpreted with
the same importance
As the teacher Konstantin Stanislavski says there are no small parts, only small
actors
I like to build the character from the beginning, I am passionate about them, I care about
them, and I tried to protect them by giving my best interpretation and respectfully following the
direction that is very important to determine the direction and success of a character
How do you practice for a scene if the other actors you want to interact with are notavailable?
It is a good challenge for the actors, I believe that the key word is concentration and thus gathering the
necessary elements to be able to make an emotional connection with what surrounds me, considering
this action as a natural and convincing scene where only you and your character are
?Where do you go for high vocal exercises
It is a lot of fun and useful to prepare vocally
I practice at all times reading my scripts and recording my voice
I like to create different tones and
accents
I practice my high tones some times in the studio and also I go hiking and also to practice
The mountains are a magical place to practice high tones. I start with a little warm-up
Doing gestures, moving my neck in circles, up and down, relaxing my muscles and joints and I start
practicing lines and screams
How do you react when you receive a negative review about a performance?
At the beginning people laughed at me when I shared my dream of being a Hollywood Actress
I have
been criticized for my aspirations as a female filmmaker and many other things including my
ethnicity, my skin color, my brown eyes, my accent etc, etc
Achieving a solid career in the world of cinema in Hollywood is not easy. It requires many sacrifices,
much more for a Latin actress or of different ethnicity in the world of cinema, where we women are a
minority
I have learned to put aside negative criticism and have focused on positive people and
positive things in my career. Projects, opportunities , success, helping actors who are starting and
helping people in need etc
The people who always support me and celebrate my triumphs as their own, who value my efforts and
encourage me with positive advice,
For them I am achieving my dream, all my love and my infinite gratitude to my supporters

How do you maintain secrecy about plot twists and other developments in television
production before it air?
Is a very important point , I don’t always participate in secret projects, some
independent projects give me the freedom to post some behind-the-scenes photos or
videos
But it is usually better to keep the projects on hold so as not to spoil the
project. NDA is the best option to keep a film or TV project safe
What steps do you take to fully understand your character’s importance to the story?
I have several methods that I used in my performances and I choose the technique depending on the
direction, situation and the character
Constantin Stanislavski’s technique is one of my favorites, I
enjoy living my characters in a real way and one more of my favorites is Estella Adler’s
I find it beautiful to create situations and emotions with your imagination, starting from self-knowledge.
