Creative report by Asem hegazy Creative director And Global Content Advisor

Tell us about yourself: Why do you want to work as a model? Why are you ?interested in this career
I have wanted to work as a model since I was young, as I admire models for their posture, their courage, their beauty and they inspire me whenever I see them on the catwalk.
Now that I have experienced the modelling world for the last 2 years, I am excited to continue this journey.
I want to satisfy my passion for modelling, show my capabilities to inspire and motivate women.
Whatever you desire if you put your heart into it and work hard, you will succeed.
Tell us about your education: Have you attended fashion modeling ?courses
Actually I am in the health/medical profession but pursued modelling having won a major title at a beauty pageant.
My modelling interest followed soon after.
I once attended a modelling course which taught me the basics but I have learned a lot when exposed to the catwalk and socialising with models more experienced than me.

?What related courses or studies have you taken
Apart from the basic course mentioned in my previous answer I make my living as a physical therapist and being aware of health and physical well being contributes to my modelling career.
Why would you think you’re fit to be a model?
I have the patience, elegance, passion and confidence to be a model.
At the same time I look after my physical and mental well being using work outs and yoga to keep in shape.
?What are your goals as a model
To show my capabilities, share my experiences and contribute in any way I can in the modelling field.
Above all else, I want to inspire and motivate middle aged women like me to take the plunge and show the world what they can do.

?How do you see yourself progress in this field
Modelling is a tough business .
There will always be younger models out there but I am not intimidated by this.
I believe that every person is unique in their own way and there is a role for everyone if they try hard enough to succeed.
Progress can be measured by the way a person learns from their mistakes and makes it a challenge to do something better everytime .
I can see myself progressing through a continual willingness to improve my craft .
Determination, respect and confidence also goes hand in hand for progression and I believe I have those qualities
What do you know about the advertisement industry, advertising ?psychology and photography
For me, the advertisement industry is creative, fun and at the same time can be controversial.
Advertising started way back with ancient Egyptian and Roman wall posters as a way of promoting services and activities.
Now in our modern world of technology, we have come a long way to promote services through advertising.
Modern media outlets use psychology and track user behaviour to target the advertising campaigns that surround us every day.
Whatever we see or hear affects our brain.
Photography is a very important element of the modelling industry and is equally important in the advertising industry.
Photography comes in still, digital and video form and photographers tend to have their own specialities or areas of interest.
Advertising and photography are fundemental elements of the modelling world.

?How do you communicate with people
Communication comes in two ways verbal and non verbal
I always communicate politely and also I listen and respect other people’s views and ideas.
I try to empathise with the people I meet especially in my work as a physiotherapist.
A smile or a kind gesture like tapping a shoulder or an embrace when needed is worth a thousand words. My glass is always half FULL!
Are you patient? Are you friendly? How open are you to clients’ requirements
As Filipino, one of our well known characteristics is being patient and I have a very friendly nature to compliment this.
I respect others views and listen with respect without being judgemental. This makes me very open to any clients requirements.
The client knows best and is paying for my time so I will always put their needs first.
?Do you eat nutritiously
It is always a joy to eat everything you crave for.
Who does not like eating food? But I know you have to be careful with what you eat to be successful as a model.
Being in the medical profession and a model, being healthy is very important.
In my line of work, nutrition and physical fitness are essential. I do eat nutritious food as I believe you are what you eat.
?How often do you exercise or go to the gym
I work full time, am also a part time model not mention a mother to a lovely daughter.
I like to exercise at home with yoga and high intensity workouts 3 times a week and use the stairs when at work (172 steps) twice a day.
Also I love walking in the countryside with my dog whenever I am on my day off.
?What do you hope to accomplish at our modeling agency
My main aim is to keep improving myself in the modelling and fashion industry and I hope that I can contribute to your agency and we can work together to achieve our mutual goals.
Do you have any limitations? Would you model any kind of clothing at ?all
As a model, it will always be a pleasure to showcase every designer’s creation.
I don’t have any limitation with clothing as long as the designer believes I can wear their design with elegance, class and pride.
State your availability: would you travel? Work full-time, part time? Any hours
Yes I can travel and with availability, I am doing modelling part time any hours to suit.
