Nusret Gökçe, the famous butcher, who has branches in different parts of the world, went to court with his former employees. Former employees filed a complaint claiming that Nusret discriminated against them and forced them to wear low-cut dresses.

The plaintiffs, speaking to Insider, one of the leading US media outlets, also claimed that Gökçe’s restaurants had a sexist atmosphere and that employees were discriminated against based on their nationality

“An aspect of it emerged. 9 former employees who spoke in 7 lawsuits filed in the two cities said that Gökçe was obsessed with fame and money.

Former employees also claimed that there was a testosterone-dominated work culture in the workplace as well as labor exploitation.

” “You feel like you’re being respected a lot less than it should have been, it wasn’t respected,” a woman who used to work as a reservations officer at Nusr-Et Miami told Insider’s Sophia Ankel.
